Experience You Can Trust

Annie Mathot, AIA, LEED AP, is a licensed architect in Virginia and a graduate of the University of Miami School of Architecture. After five years with a nationally recognized urban design firm—where she developed a strong foundation in contextual design and placemaking—she moved to Staunton, Virginia, and spent two decades at Frazier Associates. There, she led a wide range of projects, from custom homes to historic rehabilitations, and built lasting relationships with local professionals and craftspeople.

In 2025, Annie founded Bluebird Design Company to bring a more personal, client-centered approach to residential architecture. Her work blends sustainability, tradition, and thoughtful design to create spaces that are tailored to the people who live in them and the places they belong.
